Mosaic Heart Workshop

Join us for a Mosaic Workshop at Meier's Creek Brewing Company in Cazenovia!  During this workshop your host, Ashe of Forged from Ashe Studios, will teach you the basics of making a mosaic!  She'll go over the basics of breaking and shaping ceramic and glass tile, how to use the tile grinder to shape your pieces and how to grout your piece.  Then you'll use your new skills to make a mosaic heartl!  A variety of found materials and tiles will be available and a supply of heart-shaped found materials to add to the center.

Please note: there won't be any duplicate heart shapes so an exact duplicate the heart shaped center of the piece in the photo will not be available and everyone's piece will be completely one of a kind!  

Black grout will be used for this project, as in the photo.  

Hearts measure 10-12" at their widest and 6" tall.  Stand not included.

Feel free to bring any quarter size baubles or trinkets you want to include in your project.  This is just optional if there's something you have that you really want to include.

This event is for ages 12+.

This event will be in their spacious, beautiful private Cellar room downstairs from the taproom!  You're welcome (and encouraged) to purchase beverages and food at Meier's Creek and indulge during our class - they make their own craft beer, and offer a delicious array of pizza, wings, sandwiches, bowls and more!  Check out the menu.

Your ticket includes all materials and instruction.  All guests must purchase a ticket.  We will update you with any changes via email before this event.
